Our foster families are of utmost importance to us at Meant 2B Loved. When you foster for us, you provide love, care, and a temporary safe place for vulnerable animals to thrive while they wait for their forever home. We provide the animal’s food, supplies, and medical care – all we ask of you is to provide a loving and safe home.

Fostering Opportunities

The animals that come into our care have a variety of needs. Some of these are:

• Orphaned animals too young to be adopted and which may need to be bottle fed.
• Pregnant and/or nursing animals.
• Animals in need of socialization or help with behavioural issues.
• Recovering from an injury or medical procedure.
• Owned animal needing temporary foster care.

How to Foster For Us

To be eligible to foster for us you must meet the following requirements:

• You must be 19+ years of age.
• Have pet-friendly housing and/or landlord approval if you are renting.
• Have a separate isolation area and reliable transportation.
• Ensure your own pets are spayed/neutered. Please be prepared to provide proof.
• Ability to spend time with your foster animal and monitor their health and well-being.
• Ensure your own pets are up to date with vaccinations. Please be prepared to provide proof.
