Lint was rescued from the outdoors and came into care a little older than most kittens do for socialization — but he’s made incredible progress learning what it means to be loved and safe indoors.

This handsome boy is very food-motivated (tube treats are his absolute favorite!) and has started to enjoy interactive playtime near his humans. He’s especially playful at night when the world is quiet, chasing toys and showing off his independent side.

He likes to pretend he’s a tough guy — if startled, he might give a dramatic hiss — but it’s all fluff and no claws. Once he knows he’s safe, he melts right into a cozy nap, especially when bundled in a soft blanket or wrapped up snugly like a little burrito. Feeling secure helps him relax, and he’ll thrive in a calm home that gives him time to trust and blossom.

Lint would do well with another friendly cat who can show him the ropes, and he’s comfortable around dogs too. He’s a master at hide-and-seek, so his new family should make sure he has cozy hideouts that are “his spots” — and he’ll need to start off in a smaller, quiet space where he can feel grounded and confident.
