This handsome, spunky Husky/Shepherd mix is Simon; he’s full of energy, sweet and very smart. He has learned a few basic commands (Sit, Stay, Lay Down), as well as a fun trick: he knows how to open doors with handles! We wanted to see if he could also close doors, but no such luck …yet!

We are sure he will pick up new tricks (perhaps the Fetch-a-Beer-From-The-Fridge trick??) and commands with ease once he moves to his forever home.

Simon loves to play and is very friendly with large breed dogs! He is also very good with kids of all ages.

He’s not so keen on little dogs, cats or small animals due to his breed, as he tends to chase them. He does fixate on larger wildlife (mostly deer) and tries to understand what they are.
