Luna is now healing from her TPLO surgery and is thriving, she’s ready for adoption applications to start pouring in. If you have livestock and don’t want them taken by predators this is the girl for you! Let us tell you about Luna her likes and dislikes .. Her foster mom can’t say enough good things about this amazing large guardian dog. Prior to Lunas surgery, she was housed down at her fosters barn protecting geese, chickens, Guinea fowl, goats, horses, rabbits, cats and pigs! Luna is great with all different animals including dogs of all sizes!

Luna loves a job to do, protecting her family, farm and friends 🐓so an acreage / farm / property home is a must for her.
She loves lounging around with her foster family, going on walks, meeting new dogs, and of course protecting her fur and feathered friends.

Now for the dislikes ..

There is one thing that runs deep in Lunas blood that she despises and that’s coyotes, Luna will chase them off back in to the woods without hesitation, the sound of their yipping sets her off. One night during the polar vortexes 🥶 we had Luna in the house she woke us up, we let her out thinking she just had to pee she chased off some coyotes that were looking for an easy meal once she ran them out of the neighborhood back to the woods Luna returned home. A job well done.
