These two gorgeous girls were originally posted as barn cats; however, they have now become too domesticated for outside/barn life. Silky and Lacey were each brought into our care with a litter of kittens and semi feral. Lacey was a little more untouchable than Silky. At 3 years old, we imagine they’ve had a few litters but are now done with that; Silky is leading the way to both of them becoming someone’s life long companions. Silky is very talkative and interactive with her foster mom and it wouldn’t take long before she was the same with another human companion. Silky’s name suits her in how sleek her coat has become since she’s had good food and isn’t spending her energy and nutrition feeding her kittens.
Lacey is a bit more resistant to human companionship at the moment but is beginning to vocalize greetings and show signs of affection while cautiously keeping her distance. She needs some work but we know that with her sister’s help and an understanding human, she will learn to trust and become a wonderful house panther too. She too has changed tremendously in her appearance and looks sleek and healthy in comparison to our first encounter with her. The sisters are bonded and need to stay together. If needed, M2BL will continue with support in socializing for these girls to ensure they and their human adopters have a happy ending. A quiet home with no young kids (and likely no dogs, but we aren’t positive about that) would be best suited to get these timid but very polite ladies going to become your forever companions.
