Darryl got involved with Meant 2B Loved after adopting a kitten from the Rescue (Suma, pictured). When she saw a request for volunteers to help with fundraising and marketing she thought she may have some skills that would be useful.

After some months of volunteering, and the adoption of another kitten, Darryl was asked to join the Board of Directors.

“I knew I didn’t have the skills needed to work directly with animals so I’m grateful to have the opportunity to help out in other ways,” she said. “It is so rewarding to see the kitties and pups finding new forever homes and I’m inspired every day by the commitment to animals in need by the women of this rescue.”
