While grieving the death of their 14-year-old cat, Diane was on her tablet one day when the image of a Meant 2B Love dog popped onto her screen. She, with her husband Brian, followed the link to the M2BL website and began browsing the available animals.
That is when they saw Ada (now Maeve), a little white ragdoll kitten, and knew she was meant to be a part of their family.
“We both fell in love with her kitten face and immediately applied to adopt her,” Brian said.
After submitting their application and going to a meet and greet at the kitten’s foster home, they were approved to bring her home.
Maeve quickly adapted to a family of three cats and has shown herself to be a very intelligent and sweet cat.
“She makes little trilling noises and has brought us such joy,” Diane said. “Adoption gives a pet a chance of a safe, happy life, but it is also very beneficial for the adopting family!”
“It’s a labour of love,” Brian agreed.
Maybe there’s a reason Diane and Brian found their way to the Meant 2B Loved website that day. It sounds like adding Maeve to their family was truly meant to be!
